An own-goal and PSG winner provided late drama in Singapore as PSG beat Atletico Madrid in arguably the most exciting ICC game of pre-season. Virgiliu Postolachi won the game for Thomas Tuchel's side after Atletico Madrid bravely came back from a two-goal deficit in the second half.

Atletico Madrid are renowned for being defensively solid, however that was not the case today. Christopher Nkunku opened the scoring for the Ligue 1 outfit from close range, after Atletico Madrid failed to clear their lines. The game's opener came against the run of play, as 'Atleti' had missed two brilliant chances just before. German goalkeeper Kevin Trapp kept his side in the game early on, coming out well to close the angle and block Correa's effort from close range.

Moments later Atletico Madrid's Kevin Gameiro had a moment to forget, after blazing his effort well over Trapp's goal after cleverly beating PSG's offside trap.

Atletico responded well to going 1-0 down, and dominated the subsequent 10 minutes. 27-year old Kévin Rimane had to be alert to cover his goalkeeper and clear Vietto's effort away from his goal.

After an initial nervy first 45, the game opened up in the second half, as both teams tried to catch the other out on the counter-attack. Firstly, Atletico missed another glorious chane as three forwards failed to convert a from a simple cross from the right hand side. PSG nearly punished Simeone's side's wasteful ways a minute later, as Atletico's goalkeeper Adan was forced into an important save.

It was evident that a second PSG goal was impending after Moussa Diaby smashed a brilliant long-range effort off the woodwork. This soon happened five minutes later, as Diaby capitalised on a poor defensive mix-up from Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid did not accept the defeat however, and made a resilient second-half comeback.

'Atleti' got one back from youngster Victor Carpintero Mollejo, after Trapp had done well to keep deny Atletico twice from close range.

Atletico were then on the ascendancy, and their inevitable equaliser came in the 86th minute when PSG's Bernede deflected an Atletico cross and left his goalkeeper hopelessly wrong-footed.

Diego Simeone's side beat Umai Emery's Arsenal 3-1 on penalties after their opening game of the pre-season tournament ended a 1-1 draw after full time, and the La Liga giants looked set for their second shoot-out - however 18-year old Virgiliu Postolachi won it in the dying embers of the game. The youngster picked up the ball on the edge of the box, before expertly curling his effort past Adan and into the top-right hand corner of the Atletico Madrid goal.

This proved to be the last kick of the game, as PSG stole the victory in the final minute of an exciting pre-season friendly.
