Much of this credit falls squarely on the shoulders of Lawrence Vigouroux. The 32-year-old Chilean stopper is enjoying one of the finest seasons of his career, establishing himself as one of the Championship's top goalkeepers. This isn't just anecdotal; the statistics support it. Vigouroux ranks as the fourth-best goalkeeper in the competition for goals prevented (2.39) and the second-highest for saves made so far (113).

These impressive figures are only slightly marred by a small Achilles' heel, which in this instance, is more of a persistent headache. The Chilean has conceded more headed goals than any other goalkeeper this campaign, the only one to reach 10 goals in this category. It's a minor area for improvement for the Chilean stopper who, despite this, has become the undisputed master of the Swansea goal, having arrived in the summer of 2024 and extending his contract a few months ago until 2028.
